My favorite band part about my band career is the fact that I'm only a freshman in high school and I play multiple instruments for band all ready. It might not seem like much to others but I just feel like it is such an honor to do that, only being a freshman.

It's so hard to pick just one moment. One memory that sticks out is cheering with everyone after we got a superior at marching MPA my freshman year. Just being a part of something like that for the first time was really cool. Seeing what I and my ensemble can accomplish might be my favorite part.

it would either be when we won first place with our 2011 show. seeing all the senior so happy, some even crying was a new experience. you sorta get a new level of respect after you experience that.

Mine would be when you perform for the first time and you get the most amazing feeling of excitement

Hm. My favorite band experience? I'm not sure if I could choose one. I love how my band is so close, like someone said above, it's like a family. A big, happy family full of fun and happiness.

My two would have to be when I "invented" two band instrument weapons by just holding them like a weapon: the bass clarinet machine gun (which I hear is going in our school's yearbook) and the tu-bazooka. Or it could be my first year during marching band: It was our post band camp party, and the seniors pulled a rather off the wall prank: Condiment guns. The nice part was that I lived across the road, so it was like they never pranked me. It was really funny when they brought out the mayonnaise guns. I swear I never laughed harder when the girls played along.

I love making friends at competitions. After performing when we're sitting in the bleachers, some of my friends and I go around introducing ourselves to other bands. They're usually really funny, have great stories, and can't guess the age of my friend who is in 8th grade and thirteen years old because he skipped kindergarten. They usually say 14-16. lol.
