My school has never had a cymbal line, but I think cymbal lines are some of the most awesome things ever!

^ agreed! every year i annoy the crap out of my band director asking him for there to please be a cymbal line. even if its just me, ill be the happiest cymbal player around.

My school was (graduated )  really really small, so we barely have enough people to give us any decent sized section. We can't spare enough people for a cymbal line ): |

Same with my school. We had one, but the percussion section hasn't been that big since we had it 6 years ago. We had to drop battery and do just pit too, we had so little people!

My school has had a cymbal line, but the instructor wants to get rid of it for more snare parts. I enjoyed playing the cymbals while it lasted though

My school is really small, we just have a DrumLine with 2 cymbals, 2 bass drums, 4 snare drums, and a quad.

I played cymbals my freshman year and then i failed drumline auditions 2 years in a row so i've been playing Vibes...i really wanna go back to cymbals!!! DX Maybe next year i'll be on cymbals again...senior year  |

I played cymbals for a year. Hated the instrument itself, but the people on the line were the coolest on drumline. And you know what else is cool? Fezzes. Fezzes are cool.

Fezzes are super cool! So are bowties but yeah. I played cymbals for 2 parades. Man oh man do they kill your arms in parades that are like. 2 miles long.
