I've actually never gotten to play vibraphone. Our band instructor said he bought one my freshman year, but then he changed schools and we never heard of it. But everytime I see a vibe. I'm in love.

Last year I played marimba, but next year I'm playing timpani because I'm the only one that knows how to play it lol.

I just got a bass guitar yesterday and am trying to get my director to let me play it for marching band. The two reasons he won't: I'm currently the only tuba player, and nobody else in pit would be playing an electric instrument (both problems of being in a small band). So I'll probably be stuck on sousaphone...

BASS CLARINET. I played it for a semester in seventh grade and loved it, but they took me off the next semester and now (in high school) the bass clarinets are a junior and a senior. Maybe, someday...

My main instrument that I play is Trumpet, and marched it for two years until I injured my knee a bit at the end of one of the days of band camp last year.So I was put into Pit, which I played Concert Bass drum. That was it, mainly since I was in a wheel chair for the majority of the season that year. This year, I played Marimba, and I loved it. This year for indoor percussion, I'm playing Vibes.
I want to continue playing keys, since its really enjoyable for me.
And my favorite has to be Marimba. Vibes are alright, its just the set we have at my school that I was introduced to is worn out and near the end of its use. (pedal is broken, motor for the vibes is torn off, and the piping for the keys falls out at occasions.) Hopefully we're getting a new set soon this year :]

I'm in middle school, so basically just the xylophone, orchestral bells, bass drum, snare, tubular bells, timpani, crash, suspended, and all the little nick-nacks. I can't wait for high school where I'm going to be in pit!

Played: Piano, Clarinet, Vibes, Aux. percussion
Want: Um... oh! Bagpipes! X) Or learning "The Rainbow Connection" on the banjo.
Favorite: I'd probably have to say I enjoy listening to the French Horn or the English Horn the most, but I love playing the piano the best. ^^
